 Sophie Harrison qualified as a solicitor in 1994, after taking a law degree at Cambridge University and receiving first class honours in the Solicitors’ Final Examination.
From 1994 to 2004 she specialised in family law at Hedges Solicitors in South Oxfordshire, becoming a partner in 1999. She has been highlighted as a notable family law practitioner in the Chambers UK directory, trained as a mediator, and became accredited as a specialist family solicitor through Resolution.
Since 2004, Sophie has concentrated on raising her young family, and has worked as a legal consultant for R F Tansey Solicitors, on a freelance basis.
Her particular strengths include financial arrangements on divorce, advice on separation following cohabitation, and private law arrangements for children.
