Rosemary Tansey has practised in the area of family law for well over 20 years. She is extremely experienced in all aspects of this difficult and sensitive area of law.
Because she was well aware of the emotional pressures suffered by clients undergoing divorce or separation, or who had problems relating to contact with children for instance, Rosemary decided to set up this specialist practice with the aim of providing sympathetic, but professional advice and assistance in all areas of family law, where each of our clients would feel that they would receive a welcoming and understanding response from every member of the firm.
In addition to her experience as a family lawyer, Rosemary also sits as a Deputy District Judge and lectures not only in family law but on other legal topics. She has written a book on family law and helped design specialist computer software packages for other family lawyers.
Rosemary has also been actively involved with Resolution – First for Family Law (previously the Solicitors’ Family Law Association) for many years as a local committee member. Both she, and the members of her firm, actively espouse the aim of Resolution in helping clients to resolve their difficulties in the manner best suited to their needs and wishes.
